Description
Our unique anti-collapsible oil filter element replace the original filter found on “M-14p” and “Housai”. This is a must for your safety. The fact that the original filter element was soldered with an alloy that has a low melting point, this alloy is alike the soldering media use in soldering electronic component. The continuous cycle of hot and cold on our engines oil can some time reach temperatures above 220f. Some of the soldering media can also melt in the range of around 350f down to 270f. That means that the soldering compound slowly deteriorate and loose some of it mechanical bonding ability. Our custom built filter element is Laser welded as a single frame or unit. That means that the structure of the filter won’t rely on soldering mechanical bond to hold its shape. Instead it is a strong frame that can stand over 230lbs of crushing power. When the original soldering media crack or slowly brakes down, the filter holder has a shutter valve with a spring that push and make it acts like a guillotine. The guillotine valve under the pressure of the spring slowly shut the oil flow without giving any major sign as the filter element slowly becomes crushed. This situation happens very slowly and is hard to determine until is too late and the restriction of oil seized your engine.
